六、競賽地點： 恆春半島
七、競賽距離： 游泳1.9公里、自行車90公里、路跑21公里，總計113公里。
八、競賽時限： 游泳80分鐘、自行車250分鐘、路跑180分鐘，總計8小時30分。
九、參加資格： 年滿18歲，曾參加過一場標準距離全程以上鐵人賽事，或對鐵人三項運動有興趣、身心健康之民眾均可報名參加。
職業組參賽者需具備世界鐵人公司(WTC)所頒發核可之認證始能報名。
正確填寫報名表，並需於報到時提供本人有效證件影印本查核(國外參賽者：護照、國內參賽者：身分證件)
簽署參賽志願書，未簽名者大會有權不接受報名。
未滿20歲之參賽者需出示家長或監護人同意書。
十、比賽項目及分組:分成職業組、分齡組及鐵三角接力組：

選手必須提出現任職業三項全能之執照、簽署證明或是由世界三項全能協會(WTC)提出的職業選手之證明。
分齡組 男子組 M20：18~24歲 (民國75年至81年出生者)
M25：25~29歲 (民國70年至74年出生者)
M30：30~34歲 (民國65年至69年出生者)
M35：35~39歲 (民國60年至64年出生者)
M40：40~44歲 (民國55年至59年出生者)
M45：45~49歲 (民國50年至54年出生者)
M50：50~54歲 (民國45年至49年出生者)
M55：55~59歲 (民國40年至44年出生者)
M60：60~64歲 (民國35年至39年出生者)
M65：65~69歲 (民國30年至34年出生者)
M70：70歲以上 (民國29年以前出生者)
女子組 W20：18~24歲 (民國75年至81年出生者)
W25：25~29歲 (民國70年至74年出生者)
W30：30~34歲 (民國65年至69年出生者)
W35：35~39歲 (民國60年至64年出生者)

鐵三角組成員最少兩名、最多三名，一人完成一項運動(如果為兩人組，其中一人需完成兩項項目)

IORNMAN首度於台灣設站，為鼓勵台灣好手進階挑戰國際鐵人賽事，首年特別降低報名費門檻，提供優惠價予台灣參賽者，廣邀國內外鐵人強手踴躍參與！

十三、2011 Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3世界盃錦標賽參賽資格及2010 Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship亞洲錦標賽參賽資格：
世界杯錦標賽參賽資格權：台灣站25名(職業組3名／分齡組22名)。
亞洲錦標賽參賽資格權：台灣站是取得2010年亞洲錦標賽參賽資格權的最後一站，凡是在分齡組或鐵三角組競賽成績排名前50%者，皆有資格報名參加。
十四、報名方式：
網路線上報名 (請上活動官網www.ironmantaiwan.com登錄報名)
通訊/傳真報名：(方式如下)
填妥活動報名表(請上活動官網下載)：個人組／鐵三角組／鐵三角配對組 (未滿20歲需附上家長/監護人同意書)
請以ATM轉帳/匯款方式將活動費用匯款至活動單位。(請務必列印單據)

※本活動採取個人專屬匯款帳號方式，繳交報名費用，若有匯款帳號相關問題請致電(02)8226-7300洽詢。
※請妥善保存匯款單據，主辦單位於核對匯款帳號時如有疑義，將請參賽者提供匯款單據以茲佐證。
於匯款單據附上姓名、電話，並將單據連同報名表以下列方式提供給活動單位。
A. 傳真至(02)8226-7033，隨後致電台灣鐵人三項有限公司(02)8226-7300確認報名手續是否完成(服務時間週一至週五，AM 09:30~PM 06:30)。
B. 以掛號方式，將填妥之報名表與匯款收據影本郵寄至『23585台北縣中和市建一路93巷2號5F 台灣鐵人三項有限公司 收』，並註明報名參加『2010 IRONMAN鐵人三項國際邀請賽』，並於兩個工作天後以電話確認。
十五、退賽/退費方式:
參賽者若有意退賽，請在2010/09/30以前寄E-mail至taiwan.ironman@gmail.com，大會將在比賽結束後將退還報名費用的30%。比賽資格不得轉讓及延後。
十六、競賽規程：
賽程按照游泳、自由車、路跑之順序進行，參賽選手除泳帽由大會提供指定使用外，其餘裝備( 泳裝、泳鏡、自由車、安全帽、路跑服裝等 )應由選手自行準備，始可參賽。
為維護賽事公正性及選手安全，嚴禁參賽眷屬、親友開車或騎車尾隨或進入賽道，影響比賽進行，違者將取消參賽者資格，不得異議。
其餘競賽規則（程）及說明，敬請詳閱報到時分發之大會手冊及賽前說明會之說明
十七、比賽獎金：總獎金新台幣一百萬元整。(將依參加的人數有所調整)
職業組
總獎金為NT$800,000 (將依參加之人數有所調整)
男、女生組總獎金相同
前五名頒發獎金及獎盃乙只，獎金分配如下
1. NT$150,000
2. NT$100,000
3. NT$70,000
4. NT$50,000
5. NT$30,000
分齡男子組(11組)／女子組(10組)
各組取前十名，前三名頒發獎金及獎牌，四到十名頒發獎牌乙面。
獎金分配如下：
1. NT$5,000
2. NT$3,000
3. NT$2,000
鐵三角接力組
各組取前五名，可獲得獎金及胸牌(每人乙面)，獎金分配如下：
1. NT$5,000
2. NT$4,000
3. NT$3,000
4. NT$2,000
5. NT$1,000
備註:以上各組參賽人數(組數)未達10名以上時，獎金則減半。
依稅法規定，本國籍選手凡獲滿新台幣20,000元以上之獎項，須課徵10%稅金；外國籍選手則需付20%稅金，稅金皆由得獎者負擔
十八、注意事項
1. 請詳填報名表及選手參賽志願書，如無簽名以資料不全處理。
2. 團體參賽請各參賽者填寫傳真報名表，並以【同一信封】集體郵寄報名，每位參賽者仍須詳細閱讀競賽規章，並於報名表上自行簽名以示負責。
3. 為防止意外，身體不適者請勿勉強參加，大會裁判或醫師有權視選手體能狀況，中止選手繼續比賽或取消選手參賽資格，選手不得有異議，否則一切責任自負。
4. 比賽期間大會不提供午餐，請選手自行調配飲食，保持體能最佳狀態。
5. 大會已辦理活動意外險，參賽選手如另有需要，請自行辦理加保。
6. 賽前如遇颱風或不可抗力之天然災害，主辦單位為考量選手及參與者安全，有權宣布取消、延期或調整賽事路線，相關變更通知請密切注意。
十九、以上活動事項如有未盡事宜，得隨時修訂之。本活動單位保有更動修改之權利，以活動官網公告為準，恕不另行通知
