台灣地理中心點位於南投縣埔里鎮，因此埔里被稱為有心的地方，台灣公路最高點位於武嶺標高3275公尺，亦號稱是全東南亞公路的最高點，因此埔里台灣地理中心碑及武嶺標誌成為中、外遊客到此必須留影的最佳景點。

路線海拔：
埔里國中正門(里程0K/海拔450M)→左轉中山路二段(里程1K/海拔450M)→人止關(16K/790M)→霧社(22K/1170M)→清境(29K/1600M)→翠峰(35K/2330M)→鳶峰(45K/2730M)→昆陽(52K/3100M)→武嶺（55K/3275M）
報到時間：9/4(六)14:00時~18:00時 於埔里國中大禮堂(埔里鎮西安路一段193號)
或9/5(日)04:00時~04:50時 於埔里國中大禮堂(請由北環路側門進入)
說明會議：9/4(六)18:30時
出發時間：9/5(日)05:00時起至05:30 (埔里國中)
完成時限：7小時完成
關門時間：1. 終點關門時間為當日12:30時（於武嶺停車場）
2. 翠峰關門時間為當日09:00時
參加對象：具有長程及登山騎乘經驗且願接受考驗者
參加須知：
1.本活動是一項難度極高且俱有危險性的單車挑戰騎乘活動，有心臟病或心血疾病、高山症患者，報名前請審慎斟酌自身體能狀況與評估風險。車輛必須有完整之前、後煞車並戴安全帽，無以上裝備者一律取消資格。另外建議參加人員自行車輛請須加裝車頭燈(至少一個)及車尾警示燈2個(1個為閃光、1個為恒亮)。
2.台14線與台14甲線為中部東、西向唯一道路通往梨山、花蓮的交通要道，為配合相關交管措施及管制時間之控制，終點武嶺計時站將於最後一位選手離開起點之出發時間，再加7小時整，為終點關站撤收時限(終點停止計時)。
3.請各車友配合，為了提供更好的活動品質以及有效控制車輛管制時限，因此於翠峰設置關門點。選手若於09:00尚未到達翠峰，將由工作人員於翠峰執行關門作業。勸導選手勿再上山，以免超過車輛管制時間而造成危險。
4.路線因屬山區道路故路面較為窄小，且周遭熱門景點眾多，交通較為擁擠，請參加者務必遵守工作人員之指揮，順向靠邊前進，確保騎乘安全。
5.為安全起見選手騎乘時須戴安全帽，車輛配備有完整之前、後煞車否則一律禁止出賽並取消資格。
6.終點武嶺停車場腹地狹小將實施交管，各隊隊車請務必於選手出發前05:00時，先行上山並停於翠峰停車場，07:00~13:00翠峰將管制車輛通行。車輛由武嶺沿活動路線下山的開放時間為12:00時。
7.報到時領取號碼晶片貼紙及紀念品，晶片號碼貼紙(請勿摺疊以免折壞感應天線)，請貼於安全帽前方。
8.挑戰過程中隊友間需相互扶持同心協力並協助機械修護。
9.於規定時間抵達終點者隨即前往領取完成證書。
10.建議至少2人以上結伴報名，活動中結伴同行較為安全。
11.賽事終點位於海拔3275公尺的武嶺停車場，海拔較高因此溫度將會比海平面低約20度，如遇天候不佳，山上溫度將會更低，需隨身攜帶禦寒衣物及防雨裝備，以備不時之需。
12手機、健保卡、金錢等請隨身攜帶，如感身體不適切勿勉強騎乘，如需協助可就近告知大會工作人員。
13.補給站設於翠峰停車場，距離起點約35K，備有飲水、香蕉等。
14.終點處備有小餐包等。
15.終點武嶺停車場腹地狹小將實施交管，各隊隊車請務必於選手出發前0500時，先行上山並停於昆陽停車場，以免阻礙交通影響賽事。
16.本活動如有最新訊息將不定期公佈於本會網站，請隨時上網瀏覽。
17.本活動具一定難度，報名前請自行審慎斟酌評估自身體能狀況除大會統一辦理保險外並請自行再加保意外保險。
18.活動期間無線電通訊頻道於出發前公佈。
19.於活動日當天，若終點(武嶺)之氣候惡劣危及選手安全，本會將於第一補給站(翠峰)中止活動進行。
20.安全口訣：留得青山在、不怕沒車騎。該讓就讓、該慢就慢、該停就停。
